LTF Recruitment are looking for a proactive and motivated Teaching Assistant to support a the delivering of learning in a year three class. The role is based at an OFSTED rated 'good' two form entry junior school in Central Nuneaton. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the ideal candidate.

The Role:

  • Assisting the teacher in delivering work with the children in a year three class
  • Supporting the needs of children with SEN within the class
  • Managing behaviour in the classroom.
  • Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to pupil records
  • Assisting in interventions to support pupils in development areas

Essential requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Experience and knowledge of the Key Stage Two curriculum
  • A relevant Level 2 Teaching assistant qualification or degree
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • A positive, can-do approach
