Electrical Proposals Engineer

My client gets a lot of sales enquiries for PLC Control Panels, Electrical Switchgear, MCC’s, Control Panel Design, Building and Wiring each year, and they need an extra Electrical Engineer to reply to these with estimates, costs, pricing and quotations and full technical proposals of “how we would handle the work, timescales, and how much it would cost.”

Sometimes you’ll follow up that quotation to win the order, other times you’ll get the OK to proceed, but I am looking for an Engineer with good communication skills to stay in touch with the customers, process quotations, write proposals, and gain project orders for the business.

Electrical engineers with a control panel or PLC systems knowledge, who want to work with customers. Estimating, Tendering, Proposals Engineers. A Sales engineer who wants to stop driving and work internally. An Electrical Design Engineer who wanted to move towards Project Management. All have found success in this role. Some gained a promotion to other roles from this team too.

Locations: Easy commutes from Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Rugby.
