We are in the process of recruiting for an aspiring Finance Business Partner!

This role will be joining a local manufacturing business to support the current Finance Business Partner who is looking after 4 separate sites. This role will be require the successful person to visit sites on a bi-monthly basis and really engage in the relationship building with all the stakeholders of the business. The reason this role has become available is because the current Senior Finance Business Partner is on track to step up into a more senior position within the business 6-12 months from now and the business want to start training the replacement.

This position is a temporary to permanent role, however it is still looking to start quite quickly so please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee four locations.
  • Regular site visits and occasional travel to other division locations.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Commercial, and Operations teams.
  • Generate monthly management accounts with detailed analysis, including variance and KPI insights.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all monthly reporting per company standards.
  • Create forecasts and budgets for all P&L components.
  • Conduct monthly review meetings with stakeholders and budget holders to manage costs and performance.
  • Ensure business areas meet profit targets, providing constructive challenges when necessary.
  • Offer support and training on best practices to factories as needed.
  • Implement and uphold financial controls across all departments and sites.
  • Address audit queries from Group and external auditors.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to achieve best practices in finance.
  • Contribute to key priorities and annual objectives for success.
