We are seeking a General Cover Teacher to join our vibrant and dedicated team in Nuneaton. The ideal candidate will be flexible, confident, and able to step into a variety of subject areas to provide high-quality teaching and learning for students across different year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Ensuring that students remain on task and complete set work to the best of their ability
• Supporting the overall progress and development of students
• Liaising with the department heads and teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Adapting teaching materials as needed to suit the needs of students

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or relevant experience in a school environment
• A flexible approach to teaching and classroom management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students
• The ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to different subjects and environments
