General Cover Teacher (Secondary Schools)

Position Type: Ad-hoc, Full-Time or Part-Time

Are you a flexible and passionate educator looking for an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of secondary schools in Nuneaton? We are seeking dedicated General Cover Teachers to join our team on an ad-hoc basis, with both full-time and part-time options available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cover for absent teachers across a variety of secondary school subjects.
• Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
• Follow the provided lesson plans and ensure smooth continuity of students' learning.
• Support students with their academic and personal development.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching in secondary schools (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Pay & Benefits:

• Competitive daily rate of £150–£180 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
