**Workshop Supervisor Required** To join an internationally recognized transport and logistics company. Our client offers businesses premium vehicle and trailer rental services, as well as a range of additional facilities such as truck/trailer maintenance, breakdown assistance and asset tracking.
 

Salary & Benefits 

  • Salary - £40,000.00 - £44,000.00
  • 4 on 4 off (40.5hrs per week)
  • Overtime Available: Weekdays time 1/2. Sundays & BH: Double Time.

Responsibilities 

  • Assistance in maintaining the workshop, scheduling and prioritise repairs 
  • Help managers identify cost-effective repair methods in order to minimise trailer downtime.
  • Ensure all inspections, servicing, and repairs have been completed in accordance to company standards.
  • Oversee and manage workshop systems and processes as required
  • Aid with maintaining appropriate staffing levels
  • Assistance with managing overtime
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring parts and products are available in a timely manner
  • Identify opportunities to leverage manufacturer warranties and goodwill programs.
  • Support managers in analysing maintenance trends and providing insights for improvement.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are operated safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies and enforce adherence to the Mobile Van Policy.
  • Highlight potential commercial opportunities to managers.

Requirements

  • Qualified technician with the relevant City and Guilds / NVQ equivalent qualifications
  • Customer & Team Focused
  • Previous experience supervising a team
  • Computer literacy is essential
