Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor
路Assist in maintaining efficient workshop scheduling and prioritise repairs according to customer demands and business needs.
路Ensure all inspections, servicing, and repairs-whether in the workshop, on the roadside, or at a customer's location-are completed to a high standard, adhering to company guidelines and current Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations.
路Encourage safe and efficient workshop practices, maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment and ensuring full compliance with safety standards
路Assist managers in maintaining appropriate staffing levels by managing holiday requests and workshop loading
路Collaborate with managers to manage overtime efficiently, ensuring alignment with maintenance needs
路Maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring parts and products are available in a timely manner
路Support managers in analysing maintenance trends and providing insights for improvement.
路Strive to meet or exceed all agreed-upon goals and objectives.
路Ensure all company vehicles are operated safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
路Deliver high-quality customer service, consistently demonstrating company values.

Skills and Qualifications of a Workshop Supervisor
路Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a commitment to both customer satisfaction and team success
路Previous experience supervising a team is an advantage
路Possess a high level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and effective communication skills
路Exhibit strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
路Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision
路Comfortable with providing feedback and challenging processes when necessary
