Paint Shop Technician - Nuneaton - £26,000 per annum (rising to £27,812 after probation) - Permanent

**Exciting Opportunity: Paint Shop Technician - Paint Prepper & Polisher**

**What You Will Do:**

  • Prepare surfaces, mask, and mount components prior to paint, ensuring a high standard of work.
  • Carry out quality checks upon completion, adhering to all requirements for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
  • Work on and prepare carbon fibre parts to an exceptional level of quality.
  • Follow work instructions meticulously to meet customer requirements.
  • Polish gloss finish components to achieve a high-quality end product.
  • Contribute to the team by working well within a group setting as well as independently.

**What You Will Bring:**

  • Proven experience in prepping and polishing, preferably with carbon fibre parts.
  • Ability to prepare raw parts for primer and primer for topcoat.
  • Skilled in using filler for pinholes and voids, and able to remove shape issues from a panel to give a flat surface.
  • Experience in a high-pressured/fast-paced environment, ideally within the Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Double day shifts - Mon - Thurs 6:00 - 14:30 & 14:15 - 22:45 Friday 6:00 - 11:00 & 10:45 - 15:45
