We are working in partnership with a well-established, successful, highly reputable law firm who are looking to attract an experienced Care Solicitor with public law experience to join their care team based in Nuneaton as a Lead Lawyer. 

The role will involve:

  • Working as the Lead Lawyer in the Care Department, supported by an experienced paralegal and a legal assistant
  • Managing a public law care caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Applying for Legal Aid public funding for clients
  • Assisting colleagues and working as part of a team
  • Keeping clients fully updated 

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Fully qualified status with 3 years' PQE
  • A sound understanding of all aspects of publicly funded care work
  • Experience of managing a publicly funded care caseload with minimal supervision
  • Children Panel accreditation or the desire to wok towards achieving accreditation
  • Excellent communication skills

This is a full-time permanent job, working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working will be accommodated. Free on site parking is available.
