Siamo Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Damage Assessor in Nuneaton.

Shift:

  • 5 hours Monday to Friday
  • 8am -5pm
  • 30-minute lunch.

Pay:

  • £36,465 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Potential to earn an extra £500 monthly

Candidate requirements :

Understands various electrical and hybrid competence

Has panel and BS welding skills

Previous experience in the reassembly of vehicles and undertake diagnostic resetting checks and road testing.

Be competent and confident in preparing vehicles to accept primers, base coats, lacquers.

The role and knowledge:

Produce initial and updated estimates as specified by insurers/customers. Ensuring that the vehicle repair can be carried out safely, to the correct specification.

Can prepare manual and IT based estimates using the requirements laid down by the insurance company/customers

Order parts if applicable ensuring they are supplied correctly

Maintain a file of all estimates undertaken ensuring all work is not automatically authorised and ensure that any such work does not commence until authorisation is gained.

The level and scope of the vehicle damage assessor will be to maintain the outcomes of the VDA Accreditation, Audatex, IMI Customer Service Practitioner Level 2, 3 ADAS, and IMAL Level 3 Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle. It is expected that the job holder will research emerging technical knowledge and automotive developments that may be present and future vehicles that may affect and repair following accident damage. This may involve consequential formal training, distance, or remote training.

Due to the size and complexity of the establishment, you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capacity, as directed by a senior manager of the group to whom you have a reporting relationship.
