A famous vehicle manufacturer in the midlands of the UK requires a new Project Lead Engineer to be the technical lead across accessory projects.

We require a detail-oriented Project Lead Engineer to take full ownership of the design, development, testing and approval of all accessories for many different models. The role offers full project ownership from concept to production, where you will ensure that accessories meet the highest standards of quality, cost and performance.

By driving high levels of integration you will ensure delivery to the time, cost, quality and specification constraints of approved standards, whilst at all times maintaining excellent working relationships with all project stakeholders.

Candidates will have demonstrated expertise in project management (MS Project), collaboration, resource planning, testing and approval.

A degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Product Design related subject is desirable, along with demonstrated experience of technical, design and development work in an engineering environment.

Accessories in this context will be those that improve performance or add luxury and appearance. Expect to work across many different kits, across 2 - 3 different vehicle models. You will be the design lead, the representative of this team in senior stakeholder meetings.
