Trainee Compressed Air Engineer

Our client, who has over 40 years of experience in the Air compressor industry, is looking for an Trainee Air compressor Engineer due to the growth of the business. Successful candidates will asssit with planned maintenance and servicing on various compressor systems including but not limited to HPC, Compair, Champion and ABAC. In return, they are offering a salary of up to 30,000, a generous holiday package of 32 days inclusive of bank holidays and fully funded ongoing training. This is a perfect role for a Electrical/ Mechanically minded engineer transitioning from other sectors, including ex-military personnel.

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air systems.
• Conduct routine checks and diagnostics to ensure system functionality.
• Learn to interpret system and equipment drawings, specifications, and operational manuals.
• Work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of compressed air systems.
• Provide excellent customer service, understanding client needs and delivering effective solutions.
• Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  

• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the industry.
• Experience in the military or similar structured environments is advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Salary: 28,000 - 30,000
• Working Hours: 8:30- 4:30
• Holiday Package: 24 days + 8BH
• Company Vehicle provided when required.
