Pay rate: £28,000 – 40,000PA dependant on experience and qualifications (+bonus each month)

Working Shifts: FT hours Mon to Friday

Coventry Reed Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be representing a local automotive company.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Estimate vehicle repair costs for insurers/customers.
  • Ensure repairs are efficient and profitable.

For Qualified Staff:

  • Work independently.
  • Supervise non-qualified technicians.

For Non-Qualified Staff:

  • Work under the supervision of a qualified technician.

Main Tasks:

  • Prepare estimates manually and on the computer.
  • Ensure estimates meet insurance/customer requirements.
  • Order and check parts, ensuring they are correct and suitable.
  • Keep records of all estimates and get authorization for any additional work.
  • Communicate with body shop staff about the work to be done.
  • Follow Health and Safety regulations.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Discuss and agree on the required technical knowledge with your manager.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other reasonable tasks as directed by senior management.

Our client welcomes non qualified and qualified candidates but must have some experience within vehicle damage assessing / estimating
