In this role, you'll drive transformation by developing strategic sourcing plans, implementing comprehensive cost models, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers across the globe. The Role:

Join our journey to bring Holland & Barrett's trusted products to millions worldwide. As an Own Brand Sourcing Manager, you'll drive impactful sourcing strategies, working closely with global suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimisation:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to achieve the Sourcing three-year business plan, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Implement Landed Cost and Should-be cost models to ensure accurate total cost assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive supplier cost optimisation, streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve inventory turnover using lean principles.
  • Monitor global markets and mitigate risks by proactively addressing supply chain challenges like raw material price fluctuations.

Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing:

  • Advocate sustainable and ethical sourcing by partnering with suppliers to reduce environmental impact and enhance supply chain transparency.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with ethical labour and environmental standards while integrating sustainability goals into sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with ESG to align sourcing strategies with quality, ethical, and sustainability requirements.

Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:

  • Build and maintain strong global supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals for quality, cost efficiency, and innovation.
  • Negotiate contracts with favourable terms for pricing, quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership.
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance using KPIs like on-time delivery, quality, and cost, driving continuous improvement.

Lean Supply Chain & Process Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to streamline sourcing and procurement processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Apply lean methodologies to improve collaboration with suppliers and shorten production cycles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Product Integrity, Product Development, Supply Chain, Burton Packaging, and Finance teams to:
    • Ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards.
    • Align sourcing strategies with market trends and customer demands.
    • Drive make-vs-buy decisions to optimise value chain profitability

Location: Based in Nuneaton, this is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office 2 days per week.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field with strong analytical skills.
  • Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost modeling.
  • Strong financial acumen and advanced Excel skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Commitment to sustainable, ethical sourcing and familiarity with ESG standards.
  • Proficient in managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • In-depth understanding of market trends and consumer insights impacting supply chains.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
