You will be working with Hays Education, one of the largest recruitment agencies working within primary schools in Nuneaton, I am currently recruiting Supply Teachers who can teach within EYFS on a day-day basis as well as long-term.

Supply TeachingAs a Supply Teacher, you will be working in a classroom teaching children in the absence of their original teachers. You will have the responsibility of teaching, the expectation is for you to deliver the lessons following plans left by their class teacher, mark all books following the schools' marking policy and provide feedback where required. You will also be observing behaviour and ensuring all children are following the behavioural policy and any other issues to be reported back to the teacher - any safeguarding issues please report to the on-duty DSL.You may be supporting different schools on a day-to-day, ad hoc basis or, and if this is your preferred choice, you will be working at the same school on a long-term basis, either full-time or part-time.REMEMBER working on supply is completely flexible, and you can work around your other commitments - even if you can only commit to 1 day per week, please call me!!What you'll need to succeed

  • To be a successful Supply Teacher, you must have a good knowledge of the primary school National Curriculum where you will be covering various of year groups.
  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
