Your new companyHays Education is working exclusively with a school in Nuneaton who are looking to appoint a HLTA. This is a lovely school which is easily accessible on all bus routes from the town centre. Your new roleYou will be required to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher. This is primarily in key stage 1, but could be across the school - depending on your experience and the needs of the school. You will also provide general teaching assistant support as and when required. You will need to follow the lesson plan set by the class teacher and ensure children are on track.What you'll need to succeedYou must have a qualification and/or a degree in primary education. You must have experience working as a HLTA and have taken a class previously. You will be confident in leading and have a fun, bubbly personality. You will have good communication skills and have the ability to liaise with both staff and parents. You will be adept at following instructions and ensure the lesson plan is carried out. You must be able to work on your own accord, use your initiative and be a team player.
