We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Quantity Surveyor for our bustling Property sector in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, to the highest standards, and on time.

Description

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Assess potential risks and provide solutions where necessary.
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc.
  • Manage payments, procurement and tendering.
  • Oversee valuation, variations and final accounts.

Profile

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • An educational background in Construction, Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proven working experience in construction management.
  • Expert knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Ability to manage financial management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
