Justteachers Supply Agency are on the lookout for a PE Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Nuneaton area on a long term basis with the potential for the role to become permanent. The full time post is due to start after the Easter break with shortlisting now taking place.
The school has had its challenges over the years but they are on track for a Good OFSTED report. The school have looking for candidates with strong behaviour management and someone who is looking for a challenge. The senior management team at this school are exceptional and the support is very evident.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- To teach PE to KS4, this will include both practical and theory for GCSE
- To teach a variety of different sports
- To manage classroom behaviour
- To work with a mixture of abilities including students with SEN needs
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- QTS in desirable but not essential, we also welcome sports coaches to apply for this position
- Proven experience teaching PE is required (ECTs welcome)
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Two education or school-based references where applicable
