We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team and provide support across secondary schools in Nuneaton on an ad-hoc basis. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students are engaged and following the set work, while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring students stay on task with the work provided by the absent teacher.
• Support students with any queries or difficulties during lessons.
• Maintain good classroom behaviour and ensure students follow the school's code of conduct.
• Report back on students' progress, behaviour, and any issues to the relevant teacher or department.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments, age groups, and subjects.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is preferred but not essential.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work independently.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• A passion for supporting young people in their learning and development.
