Your new roleJob Title: Emergency SEN Teaching AssistantLocation:Broad-spectrum SEN Secondary School, NuneatonPay Rate:£12.82 - £15.00 per hour (based on experience)Job Description:Broad-spectrum SEN Secondary School is seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for daily emergency cover due to sickness. This role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure they receive the best possible educational experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom teachers in managing student behavior and engagement.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and appropriate support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
