We are hiring for two 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. These roles involve providing dedicated support for Year 4 pupils with special educational needs.

Role 1: 1:1 SEN TA (ASD - Year 4)
  • Support a Year 4 student with ASD, working at a Key Stage 1 level
  • Focus on learning through play and sensory activities
Role 2: 1:1 SEN TA (ADHD & ASD - Year 4)
  • Assist a Year 4 student with ADHD and ASD
  • Provide support for learning breaks and help the student stay on task
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or a relevant qualification
  • Strong experience providing 1:1 support
  • Experience with SEN, particularly with ASD and ADHD, with a focus on managing behaviour
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and follow the class teacher's direction
  • Knowledge of maintaining, updating, and reviewing EHCPs
  • Familiarity with the UK primary curriculum
