An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and inspirational teacher who is passionate about working with pupils who have a broad range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). As part of a growing Multi Academy Trust, the school is looking for enthusiastic and skilled qualified teachers who are or aspire to be outstanding practitioners. The school is situated on a large site, connected to the Secondary premises, creating a smooth transition between Primary and Secondary education.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will:
- Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors.
- Have a working knowledge of:
- The national conditions of employment for schoolteachers as set out in the current copy of the School Teacher's Pay & Conditions document.
- The national standards for Qualified Teacher status.
Candidate Requirements
We particularly welcome applications from teachers with experience in:
- Early years or primary settings, with the ability to transfer skills to working with pupils who may have severe or complex learning difficulties, social and communication learning needs.
- Mainstream or specialist schools.
Outstanding ECTs are encouraged to apply, as full training is provided.
