H&B is embarking on an exciting journey to launch new wellness products and services, and we're looking for an International Supply Chain Lead to play a key role in delivering our ambitious plans. This is your chance to drive success on a global scale!

In this role, you'll lead international demand planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate and cost-effective product delivery while minimizing risks. You'll work closely with both internal teams and international partners to streamline processes, maximize service levels, and support business growth.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term international supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, setting KPIs to optimize performance.
  • Process Ownership: Oversee demand planning and order management, driving initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency while supporting business scalability through process, people, and tech improvements.
  • Forecast Management: Lead the creation of a rolling 12-month forecast, prioritizing key markets and introducing new strategies and technologies to improve accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of five supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to meet organizational goals in logistics, order management, claims, and demand planning.
  • Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance the international supply chain, streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction through data-driven decisions.
  • Transportation Management: Oversee international goods transportation, selecting optimal modes, managing freight forwarders, and optimizing transportation to minimize costs and lead times.
  • Growth Execution: Ensure smooth delivery of new business and accelerated growth in priority markets, collaborating across functions to introduce new processes for ambitious growth plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics, report performance to senior management, and recommend improvements to drive business success.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve issues across the end-to-end process, ensuring minimal disruption and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Nuneaton with 2 days office presence per week required

The Person:

Key Requirements: 

  • Experience from a retail background is essential
  • International Exposure: Experience managing operations across multiple countries and regions.
  • Matrix management: experience working in an organisational structure where colleagues report to multiple managers, typically both a functional manager and a project manager, enhancing flexibility, communication, and collaboration. 
  • Managing B2B and cross-border trade: Expertise in logistics, regulatory compliance, international shipping, supplier relationships, demand planning, and technology integration to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Process Improvement: Proven track record of implementing process improvements and efficiency gains. 
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and other partners. 
  • Crisis Management: Demonstrated ability to handle disruptions and crises effectively. 
  • Customer Focus: Experience in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
