The Role:

The Purpose of the Role:  

This role is critical to driving supplier accountability, profitability, and performance within our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) function, a key pillar of our Commercial Operations team. You will design and implement reporting frameworks, lead key processes, and contribute to supplier engagement strategies, ensuring we maximise supplier value and performance, while driving operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Reporting & Insights: 

  • Develop and manage supplier health check dashboards. 
  • Produce weekly supplier trade reports to drive performance discussions. 
  • Create and deliver data-driven period-end review presentations and insights. 

Profitability Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Drill into supplier profitability metrics via P&Ls to identify trends, risks and opportunities. 
  • Design and govern supplier income frameworks, ensuring alignment with strategic cost and cash initiatives. 
  • Support the Join Business Planning (JBP) process and supplier segmentation frameworks. 

Systems & Tools Development: 

  • Collaborate with the Vendor Portal Manager to define business requirements for new platforms and tools. 
  • Lead the creation of new reporting frameworks with the Business Intelligence team to enhance visibility and decision-making. 

Operational Governance: 

  • Oversee the EPOS subscription process and ensure supplier data accuracy. 
  • Lead supplier governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities. 

Location:

This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.

Technical Expertise: 

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies. 
  • Proven experience designing and creating dashboards, reports, and frameworks that drive business performance. 
  • Strong storytelling skills to present complex data in a compelling and accessible way. 

Leadership & Collaboration: 

  • Ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Commercial Trading, and Supply Chain teams. 
  • Self-starter who can work independently while also driving group initiatives. 
  • Experience in project management or contributing effectively within project groups. 

Adaptability & Problem-Solving: 

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Resilient, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
