SF Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing business based in the Nuneaton area to recruit a supply chain manager. This is a newly created role for a niche manufacturer, who are looking for an experienced professional to manage their end to end supply chain, with an emphasis on supply facing activity/purchasing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance the procurement process and the scheduling of finished goods, raw materials, and components.
  • Mange a team of direct reports across purchasing & logistics 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective suppliers.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance regularly.
  • Manage inventory and oversee the storage of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Monitor and control stock levels effectively to meet established KPIs.
  • Implement and uphold consistent inventory management routines.
  • Ensure all processes are managed in alignment with established procedures.
  • Ensure activities comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards, following approved internal policies and procedures, including the Data Protection Policy.
  • Maintain adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies as outlined
