Tool Maker

Salary: Up to £36,760 per annum depending on experience + 27 days hols + pension that pays up to 6% company contribution in years 1 and 2 and up to 9% thereafter + Death in Service benefit 3x salary, health and wellbeing support (online GP appointments is one benefit), + access to an EV lease car scheme this is a salary sacrifice scheme + more!

Hours:7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm finish on a Friday.

This Tool Maker job would suit:

  • An experienced Tool Maker or CNC Machinist who is capable of setting and operating.
  • Worked within a precision engineering environment and have an understanding of manual machining processes.
  • Good all-round Mechanical knowledge in general. A good eye for quality and detail.
  • An understanding of CAD CAM would be useful, but training can be provided where needed. The company use Fusion 360 software.

  • Setting and operating CNC machinery (XYZ Prototrak) and manual lathes / surface grinders.
  • Manufacturing new parts or repairing existing products.
  • Using CAD CAM where required and working alongside the design team. Training around the CAD CAM system will be provided if needed.
  • Offering solutions to machining challenges where required.
