MAK Jobs is recruiting Maintenance Technicians on behalf of our client.

Job Title:Maintenance Technician

Location:Nuneaton and Magna Park, Lutterworth

Shift:Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30 or 08:30-17:00 (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

We are recruiting Maintenance Technicians to join our client team and support the Site Services Manager in maintaining all areas of the business on a daily basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure machinery and equipment run smoothly and efficiently, in line with Company and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Electrical maintenance, including installation, testing, and repair of wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Diagnosing and correcting system malfunctions using test equipment
- Performing preventative and routine maintenance work
- Diagnosing and correcting mechanical issues
- Fitting new parts and ensuring equipment functionality
- Liaising with managers, colleagues, and contractors
- Maintaining inventory and records of maintenance work
- Ensuring safety systems are functioning properly
- Performing general maintenance tasks for buildings
- Loading/unloading lorries and moving heavy equipment

Requirements:

- GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths
- Recognised Electrical apprenticeship
- BS7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition
- IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and drive
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

- Knowledge of logistics or distribution industry
- Electronic equipment maintenance experience
- Circuit design knowledge
