MFL Teacher (French & Spanish) – Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Near Totton, Southampton
Start Date: After Easter 2025 or September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £160 - £240 per day (Dependent on Experience) (MPS/UPS)

Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish) to join a well-established Secondary School near Totton, Southampton. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting either after Easter 2025 or from September 2025. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3-5, fostering a love for languages and cultural understanding. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a track record of inspiring student progress.

• Be a passionate and committed MFL teacher

• Have a strong track record of improving student attainment in French and Spanish

• Be confident, adaptable, and able to engage and challenge students of all abilities

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Deliver creative and inspiring MFL lessons that develop students’ language skills and cultural awareness

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree

• Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
