Part Time Management Accountant - 3/4 days per week - Permanent - up to £45k FTE

Macildowie are recruiting for a client based in Rutland who are looking for a Part Time Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. They are a leading brand in their division of manufacturing, supplying a wide range of markets and industries.

This finance team is looking for an experienced, hands on Management Accountant to join them on a 3 / 4 day per week basis.

You will be expected to be in the office for the duration of the working week.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Manage month end reporting, provisions and journals
  • Responsible for bank reconciliations, cash flow management, VAT returns
  • Support the Senior Management Team in forecasting and budgeting product costs and sales margin
  • Compiling company financial accounts at month end, year-end and audit
  • Provide analysis of Product and Customer Profitability

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • AAT / Part-Qualified Accountant
  • Proven experience in a position that demonstrates skills required to produce company and management accounts
  • Tenacious and assertive, capable of influencing stakeholders
  • Familiarity with production orders, Bills of Material, variance analysis (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and creatively towards given targets within specific project areas, analysis and periodic reporting
