First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Shot Blaster for their client who is a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment.

As a blaster, you will be required to work inside a blast room blasting metal parts ranging from small parts to large fabrications.

Dayshift Role, £13/hr.

Duties include:

  • Working to specific production deadlines/schedules.
  • Picking kits of parts from a check list.
  • Loading and unloading items that require blasting.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
  • Maintaining own equipment, loading blaster, check and change filters as necessary, nozzles, dust extraction unit etc.
  • Ensuring all appropriate safety equipment is used and worn.
  • Ensuring all company procedures are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with all colleagues.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous or current experience sand blasting desirable but not essential. Training can or will be given as necessary.
  • Valid forklift licence desirable.
  • Knowledge of overhead crane desirable.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Can do attitude.
