I am working on a fantastic permanent People Officer opportunity for a Public Sector organisation based in the Rutland area with fantastic benefits including *free lunch and double pension contribution!* They are searching for an organised and detail-focussed HR professional who will join the team in a fast paced, operationally focussed, role.

Within this post, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process and overseeing the HR administrative process, as well as mentoring and line managing other members within the team.

The role will be based mainly on site in Rutland and is payiing up to around £30k per annum!

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing high volume recruitment, ensuring compliance with safeguarding checks and coordinating interview schedules.
  • Drafting offer letters, contracts, and employee correspondence while maintaining accurate HR records.
  • Providing administrative support for HR meetings and ensuring policies are followed.
  • Overseeing two HR Administrators, balancing workloads, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Being the initial point of call for all HR and recruitment queries.

  • Strong administrative skills and experience handling high-volume recruitment
  • HR Administration experience
  • A team player who enjoys a structured, process-driven role.
  • An individual who is confident in mentoring and developing others within the team.
