First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their client based in Oakham who specialise in manufacturing of agricultural machinery.

The Role:

  • Oversee the day to day running of the Stores department including both goods inwards and goods out,
  • Ensure that all our customers have received spare parts advise as required to meet their needs in an efficient and courteous manor at all times,
  • Ensure that all enquiries, orders and queries received are dealt with quickly and efficiently, providing a good service at all times,
  • Oversee stock control for both spare parts and in house manufacturing facility,
  • Order, collate and distribute accurate parts kits on time to the production line,
  • Maintain accurate computer records of parts and goods from a wide range of OEM suppliers,
  • Undertake the inspection and receipt of deliveries of goods inwards and accompanying documentation, and store in a good and proper condition,
  • Ensure parts are stored and located correctly and the stores area is kept tidy and organised,
  • Update and maintain online shop.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A good knowledge of Agricultural parts or equivalent knowledge in a similar field such as the HGV or motor industry.
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • An eye for detail, accuracy and data entry.
  • Experience with working to challenging deadlines.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, Folk Lift Truck experience and an understanding of lean manufacturing & 5S would be an advantage but are note essential.
