Supervising Social worker - Up to £43,221 - Part time- One day in office - Good Ofsted

NonStop Care are working with a Good Osfted local authority based in the East Midlands, who are looking for an experienced social worker to join their fostering service on a part-time basis.

This position offers very flexible working, with only one day required per week in office, allowing you to maximise your time spent at home and create a fantastic work life balance!

Supervising social workers on this team hold a very manageable & low caseload, allowing you to spend more time with service users and ensuring they you have the best possible impact on their lives, ultimately increasing your overall work satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality supervision to foster carers ensuring that they meet the needs of children and young people in their care.
  • Regularly visit, assess, and support foster carers during the process of obtaining and maintaining approval
  • Deliver training and assessments to Foster Carers
  • Attend meetings and reviews

Requirements:

  • Post-qualified experience within a fostering or children in care team.
  • An accredited qualified social work degree
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the fostering process, regulations, and policies
  • Current professional registration with Social Work England
  • A full UK driving license
