Resourcing Group is working alongside with one of the biggest companies in the Fm and maintenance sector the company manage property and facilities management for airports, local authorities, schools and offices across the UK.

We are looking for a General Building Operative with experience of electrical maintenance activities, Fire Equipment and testing Water Systems. You will be working in a large single site government building in Sudbury. Derbyshire

Job Role:

Perform general and semi-skilled maintenance tasks as required.
Conduct monthly checks and tests on fire extinguisher equipment.
Regularly inspect and maintain fire hydrants and fire hoses.
Undertake fire door maintenance to ensure proper functionality.
Check and test smoke vents as per safety protocols.
Complete Residual Current Device (RCD) testing every quarter.
Perform flushing and tap temperature tests according to the water risk assessment.
Conduct monthly and annual checks on emergency lighting systems.
Carry out any additional tasks as required, in line with the role's responsibilities.


Qualifications and requirements:

Experience in Fire Door Maintenance
Experience in Fire Extinguisher Maintenance
Experience in Fire Alarm Core Points
Experience in Emergency Lighting
Experience Water Temperature Testing
