A luxury care home near Oban has a great new opportunity for an experienced carer to join them as a Senior Care Assistant.

This home is set in a very restful area, surrounded by the beautiful countryside characteristic of the Firth of Lorn and not far at all from the coastline the perfect place for outstanding residential, dementia and respite care.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with residents able to enjoy superior en-suite bedrooms, top-tier catering and varied entertainment (whether thats getting pampered at the on-site salon, getting some fresh air in the gardens, or participating in some scheduled activities).

As a Senior Care Assistant, youll be participating in the more advanced elements of care (such as medication management and care plans) and will lead and coordinate more junior members of the team.

Person specification:

  • (Essential) At least 2 years experience working within an elderly care setting
  • (Essential) SVQ Level 3 (SCQF Level 7) in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent), or currently working towards
  • (Essential) Evidence of completion of Practical Medication Administration training
