Regional Health & Safety Manager |South | Competitive Salary & Benefits Package

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading construction SME. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong management and construction background who wants to be part of a growing business with ample development opportunities. This is an "out-and-about" H&S role with team management. Travel to project sites in the South will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team
  • Manage a team of well-established advisors
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, monitoring health & safety trends and identifying areas for improvement
  • Enhance and promote the Health & Safety culture within the organization
  • Work closely with site teams, building effective working relationships
  • Oversee third-party relationships, ensuring collaboration and effective communication

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Health & Safety
  • Comfortable and adept at people management
  • Able to travel to project sites in the south, ie: Winchester / Crawley / Maidstone / Southampton
  • Previous managerial experience, with a focus on team development and growth, is highly desirable
  • Background in the construction industry is essential
  • You will either be chartered or will be imminently
