Generous fostering allowance average of £27,000 per annum (paid every 4 weeks)

Becoming a foster carer may be a suitable fit for teaching assistants, teachers, healthcare professionals, ex-police officers and ex-armed forces personnel. This list is not exhaustive.

Requirements:

  • Over the age of 21 years
  • Have a permanent spare bedroom
  • Have the right to remain in the UK
  • Genuine passion for improving the lives of children
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different age groups and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilience and the ability to manage changing situations
  • Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting

Daily Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure high standards of care.
  • Advocate for the child's well-being and development.
  • Create a loving, caring, and stable environment for children to explore their interests and reach their educational and life potential.
