The role is based onsite 3 days a week, the rest from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of ER Advisors, ensuring effective delivery of casework support.
Provide advice and coaching to managers on matters such as attendance management, grievances, disciplinaries, probation, and performance improvement.
Support complex cases, including escalations and Employment Tribunal claims, ensuring consistency and compliance with policies and legislation.
Attend hearings and meetings to offer expert advice and guidance.
Collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager to coach and develop line managers in effective people management.
Contribute to the resolution of ACAS conciliations and Employment Tribunal claims.
Work closely with HR and Employee Relations colleagues to ensure consistency and promote best practices across the department.
The Successful Candidate:
Significant experience in employee relations and managing casework across a range of employment issues.
Proven ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
Strong organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Confidence in handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
