Type: Part-Time with the option of more days.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team and inspire the next generation of geographers. We are open to taking someone on a part-time job with extra days, or it could be a full-time role. We are flexible for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective geography lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and school objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for geography.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Organise and supervise field trips and other experimental learning activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of geography curriculum and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
