GSL Education is delighted to be supporting an SEND school in OKEHAMPTON in their search for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the possibility of a permanent position.
The school provides tailored wrap-around educational support for students with complex needs or EHCP pupils who are at risk of requiring residential placements. Many of these pupils have previously faced challenges thriving in special schools or are returning from out-of-county placements.
The school ensures every child receives a high level of support, with bespoke timetables and one-to-one assistance tailored to their individual needs. Personalised learning opportunities, both in and out of the classroom, are designed to engage students, foster resilience, and drive academic progress.
