Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Okehampton
Salary: £85 to £95 per day
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
- Collaborate with the teacher to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring each child reaches their potential.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging confidence and independence.
- Assist with any personal or medical care needs, as required.
Requirements:
- A compassionate, patient, and caring approach to working with children.
- Experience with SEN students is an advantage, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive attitude to meet the needs of students.
