Data Architect – Warwick / Hybrid – Up to £85,000
VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are recruiting for an Azure focused data architect to help transform their current data landscape, lead a team of data engineers and to liaise with third party vendors.Â
Responsibilities of the Data Architect:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Produce high level designs, helping to deliver on these models
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lead a team of engineers, mentoring
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Upgrade and manage data policies
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Make suggestions for companywide improvements based on the data
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Define and design the data architecture
Experience needed of the Data Architect:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 4+ years of experience designing data solutions Â
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong hands on experience of utilising and designing data storage systems in Azure (Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL database)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Previous experience with Azure integrations (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps ect.)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong knowledge of Azure analytics (Databricks, Azure HDIInsight)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Previously lead a team of engineers
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â MUST be eligible for SC and NPPV3 clearance
