The roles and responsibilities of a Quality Engineer:
- Ensure Quality control and Quality assurance for high volume
- Review & Analyse Non-Conforming Product (NCP) on a Daily Basis. Lead the operations team in root cause analysis and continual improvement techniques.
- Management of QMS and drive towards new standards IATF and ISO 14001
- Using quality tools to drive continuous improvement to the business.
- Assist in NPI & APQP documentation as required, including PPAP documentation
- Quality management of customer and suppliers
- Lead site auditing, systems, process and product
- Lead customer and external audits
Requirements of the Quality Engineer:

- Management of small teams in a manufacturing environment
- Organizational skills & Team building skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Sound understanding of inspection techniques for Plastic Mouldings.
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality policies and system requirements.
- Knowledge of IATF (essential) & VDA 6.3 audit Policies & Procedure Requirements
- Knowledge of health & safety and environmental procedures
- Must have 3-5 Year experience in Quality Engineering in an Automotive Environment
- Initiative and problem-solving abilities (Quality Core Tools)
- Good communication and time management skills
- Customer focused
- Conversant with Microsoft systems such as outlook, word & excel etc
