Singh & Jones have partnered with an established steel design & engineeringconsultany, who are looking to develop their Midlands office. As a forward thinking organisation, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural Engineerto become the focal point in projects in London/Europe and Middle East.

The role will be reporting to the Associate Director and your duties will include;

  • Structural design elements on projects as required; undertaking detailed engineering design of a wide variety of buildings in the UK/Europe and further afield in Aisa
  • Working closely with technicians on CAD and REVIT drawings.
  • Representing the companyat meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
  • Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and within budget.
  • Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met.
  • Keeping senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
  • Coordinating your work with other members of the project team.

The position will suit a candidate with a Master Degree in structural engineering and must have 5years + of relevant experience in the UK on new and existing buildings. Having previous experience with all materials on build structures in essential, as well as goodAutoCAD skills and other engineering software; Revit Structures is an advantage. Working knowledge and understanding of relevant domestic standards
