HGV Class 1 Driver
Salary: £16.23 per hour

Driver Hire Birmingham West is currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our growing network of professionals. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining the highest standards of driving and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for various transportation tasks
- Ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods across the UK
- Perform vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure road safety
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with all legal regulations
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients and other stakeholders
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Be proactive in reporting any incidents or issues that may affect deliveries
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV driving license
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
- A full and clean UK driving license (or valid UK driving entitlements)
- Experience in driving large vehicles, with a good understanding of the road transport industry
- Ability to work independently and follow strict safety regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and nights when necessary
- A professional and positive attitude towards work
- Competitive pay rate: £16.23-18.23 per hour
