CNC Operator

Oldbury

Monday- Thursday 7.15am- 4.30pm Friday 7.15am- 12.30pm

The Role:

  • Operating numerous machines and tools pertinent to the manufacture of plastic products. Utilising numerous tools including: CNC Routing and Milling Machines,
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to understand the machining process required for each product.
  • Conduct first-off inspections and regular quality checks to ensure that products meet strict quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimise machining processes and improve productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications would be an advantage
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Team Player
