I have a number of clients within the west midlands, seeking experienced candidates with CNC background to join the team and offering excellent packages and long term progression.
Offering
- Hours - offers of days, shift patterns and straight nights.
- Hourly Rate - 15.00 to 18.00ph dependant on experience and hours wanted.
- Overtime available
- Temp to perm and permanent contracts available.
Overall purpose of this role, is to programme, set and run a variety CNC machines and controls to produce high quality components
CNC Setter Operator Programmer Responsibilities:
Programme, set and run a variety of CNC machines and controls
Working from engineering drawings and CAD files, with a variety of different materials and manufacturing processes
Using CNC and manual machinery plus a variety of hand tools
Machines on site are:- vertical milling machines, Bridgeport vertical milling centres, Colchester tornedo turning, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, and Hass
Set, Operate and Programme CNC milling / and or turning machines
CNC Setter Operator Programmer Requirements:
To have previous experience of setting, operating and programming CNC machines
Ideally, exposure to milling and / or turning machines
Bridgeport, Colchester, Fanuc, Siemens, Hass and / or Heidenhain but not essential
To have the ability to read engineering drawings
Knowledge of CADCAM would be beneficial
Exposure to use of measuring tools, such as callipers and micrometres
A good understanding of feeds and speeds
