Operate CNC and Manual Lathes, Millers and Grinders
Read from engineering drawings
Change tips and tools for CNC machines
Use Siemens or Fanuc Controls
Operate a Forklift Truck to assist with daily duties whilst also enabling tooling to be delivered to production (training can be provided)
Follow verbal or written instructions and work to set out procedures
Seek continuous improvement related to the business KPI’s and as part of the team, contribute towards improved performance and the overall improvement of the business.

Person specification:

Have experience with CNC Turning, based on Siemens or FANUC controls
Able to read engineering drawings
Well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated and professional
Good timekeeping and attendance
Responsible for achieving own key objectives, as well as the objectives of the team
Able to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines under pressure
Computer literate and able to communicate and record information effectively
