Building Consultancy Team Leader

Oldbury

Ongoing Contract - Permanent

£500 a day

Working Hours 37 hours per week

As an experienced Building Consultancy Team Leader, you will be responsible for the technical and professional leadership of all Building Control surveyors.

You will be managing workload, identification of appropriate technical training, ensure compliance is lined with current legislation and professional and operational requirements and to advise on the recruitment and selection of technical and professional building control staff.

Experience Required:

Knowledge of national performance indicators, targets and service standards applicable to the Building Control.

Knowledge of procedures in relation to BC Enforcement Procedures and dangerous structures.

Supervision experience.

Experience of communicating, liaising with elected members, groups, members of the public and external bodies.

Experience of assessing and checking Building Regulations applications relating to public service and commercial buildings.

Experience of dealing with dangerous structures.

Experience of dealing with BC Enforcement cases.

Qualification:

Membership of a professional body.
