About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Housing Retrofit Project Manager to lead and manage retrofit projects across the West Midlands. You'll work on large-scale, compliance-driven retrofit projects, particularly focused on delivering energy-efficient improvements across social housing. The role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of retrofit delivery, ensuring projects adhere to PAS 2035 standards and meet sustainability targets within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead housing retrofit projects, using PRINCE2 or APM PMQ frameworks for efficient execution.
  • Manage project budgets, validate grant claims, and support smooth processing of invoices.
  • Support Consortium members to ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and quality goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders (e.g., Department for Energy Security & Net Zero), ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Develop and oversee relationships with contractors, coordinating team workflows and managing change processes as needed.
  • Track and review project progress, support grant applications, and oversee essential project documentation.
  • Facilitate regular partner meetings, assess project outcomes, and ensure compliance in project invoicing.
  • Address potential barriers to project delivery, implement solutions, and provide regular progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience in housing retrofit project management, ideally in social housing or public sector environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PAS 2035 standards and compliance.
  • Demonstrable expertise in budget management, stakeholder communication, and project coordination.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
